Dental implants need two trips: 3 to 5 days for placement, a healing gap of 3 to 6 months at home, then 5 to 7 days for the final crowns. All-on-4 follows the same two-trip pattern with a fixed provisional bridge fitted on the first visit. Flights from London take under three hours, Tirana airport is 25 minutes from the clinics, and most patients have a written treatment plan and quote before they book a seat.
Most people researching dental treatment in Albania start with the price, and the savings are real. What decides whether the trip actually works, though, is the calendar. A patient who arrives expecting implants and crowns in a single week goes home disappointed, because bone does not heal on a holiday schedule. A patient who knows the two-trip pattern in advance books the right flights, takes the right amount of leave, and gets the result the quote promised. Arrive the day before the first appointment where possible. An evening arrival, a night in a hotel and a fresh start the next morning gives the clinic a full working day and the patient a calmer one.
Crowns, veneers, bridges on existing teeth, whitening and the combined Hollywood smile all fit in one visit, because nothing has to heal before the final work is fitted. A typical week looks like this:

Eight to ten veneers or a full set of crowns can be done in this window. Very large cases, for example a full-mouth reconstruction on natural teeth, sometimes need eight to ten days, and the clinic will say so in the plan.
An implant is a titanium fixture that fuses with the jawbone over several months. That biology is why implants cannot be placed and crowned in one week, whatever a website promises. The reliable schedule is two trips.
Between the two trips there is nothing to do except heal. Patients eat normally on the other side of the mouth, keep the site clean as instructed, and send the clinic a message if anything feels wrong. A UK dentist can take an X-ray at the three-month mark if reassurance is wanted.
All-on-4 replaces a whole arch on four implants, and its great advantage is that a fixed provisional bridge is screwed onto the implants within 24 to 72 hours of surgery. The patient goes home from trip one with a full, fixed set of teeth, not a denture. The first trip is therefore slightly longer, 5 to 7 days, to allow the provisional bridge to be made and adjusted. The second trip, 4 to 6 months later and again 5 to 7 days, replaces the provisional with the final bridge in zirconia or acrylic on a titanium frame. Total time away from home for a full-arch case is around two weeks spread over half a year.

Treatment prices in Albania are published per item and quoted in euros. On top of that, budget for the trip itself. Return flights from the UK are typically £30 to £150 per person per trip. A good three-star hotel in central Tirana costs EUR 40 to 70 a night and a four-star EUR 70 to 110; many clinics have partner rates. Eating out is inexpensive, with a full meal for two around EUR 20 to 30. A single-trip case therefore adds roughly £400 to £700 in travel and accommodation; a two-trip implant case around double that.
